Tank in container – Svalbard

This project includes a 25,000 liters double-skinned diesel tank built into a 40′ CSC approved shipping container.

Although the tank is double-skinned, the local authorities in Svalbard have demanded extra security, and the tank is therefore placed in a large waste tray, which can contain the entire contents of the tank for optimum environmental safety at the installation site. The container is equipped with light inside as well as a complete electrical cabinet, in which the electronic leakage monitoring system is placed.
